On May 13, during the “Taxpayer Respect Day” awards ceremony held at Vilnius Town Hall, VMG Group was recognized for its circular economy and renewable energy solutions, as well as for its investments in regional development. The award was accepted by Egidijus Mockus, COO of VMGcorp.

This year’s event placed a special focus on strengthening regional economies by recognizing companies and individuals whose activities contribute to sustainable local and national growth.

Sustainability, circular economy solutions, and consistent investments in regional development are among the key strategic priorities of VMG Group. This long-term strategy includes improving manufacturing efficiency, driving energy transformation, reducing environmental impact, and contributing to regional economies by creating sustainable long-term value for Lithuania.

“This is more than a one-day award – it is a meaningful recognition of the consistent and dedicated work of our entire team: the investments we make and the decisions we take to build a more sustainable industrial sector. For us, it confirms that what we do every day – from small improvements to large-scale projects – creates real value,” said E. Mockus.

Taxpayer Respect Day has been observed in Lithuania since 2018 and is included in the country’s official list of commemorative days. The initiative highlights the important role taxpayers play in driving economic growth, financing public services, and contributing to the country’s long-term prosperity.
